Hey everyone, i’m looking to get information about the new e-bikes, especially Avinox. I ride a Specialized turbo levo pro 2022.
Welcome to the forum. You've picked an interesting time to go looking at new bikes.

Your 2022 Levo Pro is running the Brose-derived 2.1 motor, which was a solid unit. The Gen 4 Levo launched in 2025 swaps that out for Specialized's own 2.2 motor, which just got a free OTA firmware update in February 2026 taking it to 105Nm/810W (or 111Nm/850W on the S-Works). That's a meaningful step up in grunt, and the 840Wh battery is a proper upgrade over what you've got now.

But the more interesting story in the market right now is DJI's Avinox motor. It's the hot new thing, 105Nm/850W in a 2.52kg package, with an integrated colour display and app control. It powers bikes like the Commencal Meta Power, Orange Phase Evo, Forbidden Druid, Amflow PL, and quite a few others. There's also strong rumour of a significantly more powerful Avinox variant coming very soon, which is worth knowing before you hand over a large cheque.

So the short version: Specialized's own ecosystem has got genuinely competitive again with the firmware update, but if raw excitement is what you're after, the Avinox-powered options are where the conversation is right now.

What's your budget, and are you looking to stay in the full-power category or would a lighter SL-style bike interest you?
