Any recommendations for a quiet bike with a great USA warranty for under $6000?
  • Main route: 17 miles (27km), 1500ft (450m), mud, gravel and rain.
  • I suspect the long rainy season will exercise any warranty
  • Tried and liked: Old Specialized Levo (~2018)
  • Tried and didn’t like the rattling sound: Bosch Performance CX (Trek Rail 5)
  • Heard and didn’t like rattling sound: Shimano E8 (model?)
  • Not interested (because skill/warranty): DIY, non-US brands
  • Unknown: New Specialized Levo (cheap model ETA August?)
  • Unknown (too expensive but will explore if I can't find anything under $6k): New Levo SL
  • Unknown: Giant e+ (out of stock locally, ETA week 39)

Your bike Doesn’t exists IMO

most of them rattle so that's Bosch and Shimano motors out the Equation

great warranty then probably Specialized is the best here but your budget might be a bit low

I owned the levo sl too the motor is quiet loud so I am not sure this will be classed as a quiet bike

Ended up going with the Giant: quiet at low cadence + free wheeling. Sounds like a toy car at high cadence! :)
