Has anyone tried to see if there is clearance to long-stroke the shock on the flow, which would mean going to 60mm shock travel instead of the standard 55mm?

I assume you have the 210mm eye to eye shock? If so, 55mm is the max stroke. To get to 60mm, you need a 230mm eye to eye shock.

Well, the Amflow has a 185x55mm trunnion shock. I just wonder if removing the internal spacer to unlock a 185x60mm trunnion shock would work.

One would have to take the air out of the shock to compress it fully and see if there is a little space left before something hits the frame, be that the shock-body, yoke or rear tire?

(I don't have the bike, but contemplating buying one in the future, and if I did, I would probably mod it a little)

You can do many things with off-center shock bushings when it comes to fit as well. Someone must have tried this?

There is nothing you can do. 55mm is the longest stroke you’ll fit in here. The next size shock up is 205mm eye-to-eye and you’re not going to offset that with bushings.

I think its a 185 eye to eye shock on there. If thats the case, the longest stroke for a 185 e to e is 55 unfortunately

Ah, you are probably correct there. I did a google search for 185x60mm trunnion and found some used Fox dpx2, and though they must exist? But since I don't see any new ones for sale, there's probably just a human error in the sales ad.

I think a lot of people, my self included, have want that to be possible many times with various bikes

Worked nicely on my current Orbea Rise, went from 210x55mm to 215x63mm non-metric shock, and some offset bushings!
Even better on my diverse santa cruzes, there you can usually just up the travel on your current shock.

But, that does not seem possible here. Had to check :D

Nice one. Im down to long stroke if possible. 185 eye to eye is a trunnion shock so even less chance
