I'd rather go for the SRAM carbon cranks. Good price, very good weight (prob. the lightest out there), decent looking.

I don't have personal experience with them, but looks like Praxis makes some that fit.
I have a set of Praxis aluminum cranks on my Pro, in 160mm to replace the 155s that it came with. They're fine. The stock cranks have really good heel clearance. Praxis does not have as much. I'm still waiting on Amflow to get some 165s in stock.

Out of curiosity, what is motivating you to go longer on the cranks? I see a lot of folks on e-bikes wanting to do the opposite, mostly to reduce pedal strikes on rocky terrain. Maybe you can find someone looking to go shorter and arrange a trade!

BTW, while I was trying to find some weight figures of the house brand Amflow parts, I found these guys who seem to have the 165mm cranks you seek in stock: Amflow Avinox Crankset

Thanks! With the shipping it's still about the same price that Amflow quoted me before shipping, so I ordered some.

I've used 175mm cranks on road and mountain for decades. The BB is really high on the Amflow already so I'm not too concerned about losing 10mm of pedal clearance. I'm used to avoiding pedal strikes on bikes with lower BB and longer cranks.

5DEV shows Avinox compatible cranks in 155 and 160mm

5Dev Cranks work and look quite good on Amflow.

Reach out if you need a set

What cranks have people replaced โ€ฆI'd like to run the Race Face Era cranks, but I've also seen some people say these don't fit.
I installed the ERA 160mm carbon cranks on both EMTBS. They were slightly shorter than the OEM and possibly the lightest cranks at the time.

There weight was less than the Dev5โ€™s and the difference in weight made up for the addition of magnetic peddles.

I reviewed these carefully and also watched a YouTube video where they tried to destroy them. As far as fitโ€ฆI donโ€™t know, but the torque (50nm) seemed a little high.

Iโ€™ve been using these for 4+ years โ€ฆbut they are pricey.

Have you fitted the RF Era to an Amflow? Pictures of the drive side would be great.

Why is your motorcover up side down?

Why is your motorcover up side down?
The sticker fell off the LHS of my Bosch motor and I glued it back on correctly aligned. My guess is that @Stihldog put it back on without bothering to align it.

Edit: or the sticker fell off while he was on the bike so he reached down and put it back on while seated on the bike. Or it's a protest against "The Man" ...

A keen eye you have. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป And that deserves a thorough explanation. ๐Ÿ™

The Bosch badge fell off on the trail somewhere, so I ordered a new one. Going without a motor cover or Bosch badge could cause others to laugh at me or question my sanity. I didnโ€™t want that to happen.

So after I received the Bosch badge that I ordered I was anxious to apply it. While servicing my bike during some routine maintenance I decided the opportunity presented itself perfectly.

However, my precious bike was not in the bike stand โ€ฆit was upside down on the bike cave floor. I removed the new Bosch badge from its plastic wrap an placed it perfectly in position.

A few days later another keen eye asked me why the Bosch badge was upside down. At first I was puzzled. Then my bpm (blinks per minutes) rapidly increased. Then an audible wtf ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Iโ€™m sure I went through a few stages of grief before I realized what happened. Then I laughed out loud ๐Ÿ˜‚.

So now itโ€™s a conversation starter, a badge of honour, a reminder, a unique feature, a protest against โ€œda manโ€โ€ฆand I like it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. Because now I can read it from my seated position.

At least you got a unique bike like no other and it's easier to recognize if it gets stolen ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ”

If anyone had their eye on either Hope of Pinnd cranks, I can report that you need the "Narrow" ISIS cranks. They will have a near identical Q factor to the OEM Amflow cranks.

I just received my set of PINND cranks and they are gorgeous! These are the ones I ordered:

Hi.
I installed Forx crank for Bosh on my bike.
Can someone tell me how to take them off (dismount)?
There is a special tool in the box but no explanation on how to use it.
Thanks

I use these two tools to remove cranks from Bosch motors.

The smaller tool will remove two different types of cranks.
Remove the dust cover (10mm). Remove the retainer bolt(8mm). Remove the washer.
Carefully thread the fine thread
tool into the crank and slowly turn.

Iโ€™m sure there are YouTube vids that show the complete technique.

Forx crank has different inner thred Bigger. I have those two tools but do not fit !

What cranks have people replaced the stock Avinox models with?

I've seen cranks that fit from:
I'd like to run the Race Face Era cranks, but I've also seen some people say these don't fit.
My bike is equipped with a Pinnd 145mm product.
A short crank has a palpable effect.

I guess I need to get out more. The good news though, is that thereโ€™s another tool on the market. ๐Ÿ™„

I really thought that the Bosch crank shaft is a one size fits all, but crank removal can be different.

Also Cane Creek has the ElectricWings Electric Wings - eMTB Cranks | Titanium Crankset for E-Bikes if you can find them for a good price - 165mm only atm. I've been running them for a while on the Forbidden Druid CorE with zero problems, no strikes yet.
