What’s everyone using for front lights?

Ordered a Cube Acid HPA3000 beginning of November, just been told delivery is April 2026.
I have a set of Hope Vision 4 lights but can’t fit the battery anywhere on the frame

Looking for something 1500lm or more for trails.

I bought a Knog Blinder E 2300 and used the Cube ACID E‑Bike Light Extension Cable to make a custom “franken‑cable” that plugs straight into the bike’s X‑Connect port. This way I can still use the Bosch Gen 5 pre‑wiring from motor to headset, but run a much brighter light.

I did consider removing the X‑Connect port and routing a full cable through the frame, but that looked like more effort than it was worth — the franken‑cable turned out cleaner and easier. Light runs great, though I still need to shorten it and tidy up the heat‑shrink a bit

I was thinking of doing the same but using a Moon e-power 2000. the Knog looks good.
Did you splice the Knog and cube wires or use intermediate connectors?

Yeah, just spliced the cables together, and heat shrink. Works great.

I had to get my bike shop to enable the light with the Bosch tool as it wasn't enabled by default and next time I'm in, when they're less busy, play about with the light power setting as they can ramp it up and down.
