Lights....Anybody fitted them to Shimano 8000

Anybody fitted lights to the Shimano 8000?
There is a Light function if you scroll through the menu, presume this means you can hard wire a light to use the bike battery?

It’s sort of a joke. only 12watts available from that port. It wouldn’t even allow my light in motion bike light to turn on.
