Just got my Levo SL Comp Alloy and loving the ride so far.
Overall the bike is more capable than I am at this point.
One thing I am not so fond of so far are the brakes, the Guide RE brakes seem to have plenty of power but modulation is a bit lacking and often find myself grabbing a little too much and unsettling the suspension.
I have been thinking of doing following upgrades to address it.
1. Upgrade to a 200mm rotor in the back - seems to be fairly simple with just a new rotor and spacer
2. Upgrade Levers to Sram Code R levers - found a set of levers for sale and have heard that guide RE calipers with Code R levers is a big improvement in modulation.

Anyone do similar setup wof running the Guide RE calipers with Code R levers?

Old post, but this came up when I was looking for something else. The brakes were the first things I got rid of. I think I'm officially done with SRAM brakes. This is my 3rd bike with them. My previous S-Works Stumpy had G2 Ultimates on them.

I've been running TRP DHR-Evos on the new Levo SL and I'll never go back. The rotors are slightly thicker so you need to really take the time to make sure the rotors are straight, but once you do and get all the noise out.... wow. These are the best brakes I've used.
