Has any got the new long shock link from cascade components on the gen3 Levo? If so just wondering what shock your running and what length forks you have at the front?

Im thinking of a TTX22M or X2 + 180mm fox 38 upfront but not sure if thats too much and will screw with the geo vs perhaps 170mm upfront.

I run my Gen3 Levo S4 in long setting, 29/29 (29x2.5 assegai at the rear), 180mm in front (ZEB Ultimate) in combo with Cascade long link (230x65 Fox float DPX2). Tried initially 170 in front, but it felt "unbalanced" Have not tried it with mullet setup

Hey Lasse, When you say it felt "unbalanced" with the 170mm, can you describe that more? I'm getting ready to add the LS Link and am going to increase the fork from 160 to either 170 or 180, so I am trying to decide which way to go. I currently have it as a mullet, but plan to try the 29/29 soon as well.

Any more feedback would be great to hear! Thanks!

Hello together.

For 3 years I ride the cascade long link with a 27,5 at the rear with a S4 frame. And now I saw and read about it that a 29er would work.

Anyone got the same combo? Would be happy to hear something positive about it.

Greetings from Germany

@Lasse I am interested in your "unbalanced" feel with the 170mm front. I just did the same and feel a bit too far forward and the bike doesn't feel as comfortable as it did with the mullet set up. I liked the rollover in technical uphill, but now trying to weigh bumping to 180mm or just going back to mullet.
