Levo Gen 2 Levo Fork Upgrade

go for a 2021 lyrik ultimate 170mm 42 offset! air 2000gr vs smaspot 2700gr 40-50lb spring.
Will a 170mm lyrik , 42 mm rake and 181 mm cut steerer tube( i think the stock/current one for my bike is 185mm so i think i will have to remove 1 of the lower spacers and i don’t know if it will influence the geometry or anything) be “ok” on a 2019 base model L size levo because i see most of the owners tend to go for the 160 mm version as the manual doesn’t recommend going over that? Thanks.

It is worded a little stronger than that in the manual. 160mm is a specified rather than recommended max, with warnings of potential frame failure if you go over that. That in turn strongly suggests that if you do experience frame failure it will not be covered under warranty.

I have a Lyrik ultimate 160 mm, 2019 turbo levo. almost a year after is the best upgrade to the bike (maxxis assegai both end is the other).
