I upgraded the stock fork to a zeb 160mm travel fork thinking it was a straight swap. After a few rides I've only just realised it's mounted way above where it should be. Can anyone recommend the mount I need to replace the standard one. I've added a few pictures for reference.

Why is there a washer between the adapter and the caliper?
And why is there a wobbly stack of washers under the screw head?

The zeb doesnt need the caliper spacer to run a 200mm rotor, so if your rotor is 200mm remove the spacer and fit the caliper directly to the fork, your going to need to replace those pads though.

Hi, thanks for the advice, the rotor is a 220mm. I'll have a go at fitting them tomorrow.

Firstly to clarify the terms ( as per @RustyIron did a bove) The post mount is integral to the fork leg. Mounted onto that you have a 40mm adapter....then the calliper bolted to the adapter. Your calliper is ( as you have sussed) mounted too high......at least half the width of the brake pad plus some. So you have the wrong adapter.
To find the right adapter, refer to the specifications of you fork taking into a ccount the diameter of your rotor. I would guess 20mm adapter would be closer but best to find the right one.

Thanks, do you know which type I need? Is it the avid 20mm bracket?

That's correct. I ran into the same problem switching from a Fox 34 to the Lyrik. My solution was to switch from a 200 to a 220 mm front rotor. ;)

To mount a SwissStop Catalyst Pro 220mm rotor on my Rockshox Zeb A2 forks I used a Hope Mount P-Post 200 To 220 adapter ("P" type).

You need a 10mm adapter since the spacing is based on the radius not the diameter of the rotor. You also might need new mounting bolts. The RockShox zeb manual says 9-13mm of thread insertion into the fork mount. These are M6 socket head bolts.

Hopefully an adapter kit comes with everything,

Previously had SRAM HS2 220mm rotor fitted with this adapter, but found it very noisy particularly when hot. So now have SwissStop 220mm rotor which is very quiet.
Great thanks for the info, I've just ordered one so I'll add an update once it's fitted. I like the fact it's silver as well, will look better with he gray zeb.

Looking at what you did I would say take it to a shop who knows what they are doing as you have no clue. Not being nasty here, just trying to save you money.

The photo of the break caliper on here was when I was seeing how low I could get the caliper I didn't ride it like this. But I didn't have a clue on which mount to get. Replaced with the hope P today and it's perfect for, new pads as well.

What rotor size is the direct mount brake for? What is the smallest and largest size rotors I can run?

ZEB is 200mm direct mount. For a 220mm rotor a 20mm post-mount adapter is needed. 203 Rotors can also be used with a corresponding spacer kit
