So ive just had my motor rebuilt by Performance bearings

Refitted the motor and done some updates via Mission control and now for some reason if im riding the bike with the power switched off after 10 or so seconds the bike turns on and the motor kicks in

Have Spesh changed something in the updates which causes this or have they always done this but ive never noticed before?

Sounds like unusual behavior, but why would you ride the bike with a power switched off in a first place? If you think you are saving the battery this way then it is better to switch the support mode to OFF while keeping the system turned ON and the battery will also last forever ...
Or do you maybe mean if you switch support to OFF it automatically changes to one of the modes with enabled support?

Strange one 🤔 never heard of that before . My Levo has never done that in 4 years..

My 2019 does that when I rotate the crank to clean the chain. I have the old connector style that can by popped out a little bit - enough to break the connection but the two connector pieces stay in contact. This prevents the connector and cable from getting twanged by the rotating crank. If I don't do this connector separation, sometimes the motor will wake itself and run the cranks.

So this happens when the bike is completely switched off, i jumped on the bike and forgot to turn it on and started pedalling, as i realised it wasnt switchced on it just cut in an powered on

So i turned it off and double checked everything and tried again and it did it again

Its never done this in the 5 years ive had it so im guessing its something ive done when reinstalling the rebuilt motor

Will go through all the connectors and check everything this weekend

Yep my levo use to do it. I'd be lubing the chain and pedalling the bike and it'd switch on, my previous shimano e8000 did the same. Figured it was normal.

Dangerous I occasionally forget to switch off. Start lubing chain , still got all fingers up to now.

My gen 3 turned itself on today when I had the bike in the stand and was rotating the back wheel the ‘wrong’ way 🤷🏻
