Helping a buddy who just bought a Gen3 Levo Alloy with RockShox 35 fork and RockShox Deluxe Select R shock upgrade to take-off suspension from a Gen3 Levo Carbon Comp. New setup will be FOX FLOAT 36 RHYTHM 29 fork and FOX FLOAT X Performance shock.
Without having the bike in front of me yet; will the headset and brake caliper mount currently on the Alloy work with the upgraded Fox fork? I expect the shock to be a direct replacement with nothing additional needed.
Please let me know if I am missing anything, so that I can prep to help him with the install.
