Levo Gen 2 Levo - 3 solid green lights on battery and bike won't turn on

Hi,

I've scoured the forums but can't find this configuration of battery lights on any other post.
Bottom 2 and top light on permanently and 3rd light out. No flashing.

Bike has been stored for a month after working fine, charged to 80% using the app feature. Came back to it and noticed these lights where on even without a charger connected.

TCU doesn't turn on when connected and battery lights stay on behind the connector.

Charger doesn't do anything when connected, shows green on charger like its waiting to be connected.

These 3 lights stay on whatever. Anyone know what this means before I head into a dealer and they inevitably tell me I need a new battery?

Upon reading it says it has gone into self discharge mode after having gone into a permanent failure state, which doesn't sound good.

But then it says it takes up to 3 weeks for this to happen, and not sure what it means by manual triggering. What happens when it's discharged? Is it dead forever? Why am I waiting 3 weeks, to give it a good send off?

Also, what would cause the permanent failure state? What did I do wrong?

how old is it, is it under warranty? Even if its out of warranty I would get a claim in - they might discount a new battery.

It's a 2020, so think claiming maybe a bit of a stretch unless someone knows otherwise.
 
I'd suggest speak to the shop you got it from and see what they say.
 
a new 700 Wh battery is currently £900 I believe, but even if the bike is out of warranty, your dealer should be able to claim an assisted purchase (you probably need the original bike sale receipt for this). Specialized assess the claim and determine a price, which I believe is typically in the region of £550 so it's well worth investigating.
 
Clean the plug and socket any dirt will stop it from working .The plug is magnetic see if there is a little piece of metal stuck to it

Did you manage to solve it? My battery is the same and I don't know what to do...
