Looking forward to hitting this tomorrow on the Fuel EX8 and the rest of the trails on the Session. :)
It’s a bit more fun to do the top of Wibbly Wobbly to the trees, then hang a right and go down the narrow fire road/access track for 100ish meters which will bring you to the start of Sixtapod as it goes into the trees. And then up to Loco as @Hattori-Hanzo says!

I’ll be about from mid-morning tomorrow, SWorks KSL with Ohlins in a battered Defender — may see you up there :).

It's a great trail, you can peel off onto locomotion at the mid section and then onto the new funnel line which is only short but fun.

or, add some fun into it and start @ top into WibblyWobbly, ride to trees then cut accross the muddy fireroad (turn right not left 🤭) then left into Sixtapod then into Locomotion

Report back what's happening at the start of Terrys belly and root manoeuvre, when I was there last it looked like they where building a start ramp for another trail?

the 'landing' half way along the 'south side link' where it splits between 50shades / Roots / Pandoras and terry's / popty and hotstepper?

they've built a launchpad like @ the main start hub from what I'm told & seen on youtube 🤷‍♂️

I've not been up there since crashing on Pandora's ~3 months ago🤡

My least favourite trail in the park due to my lack of jumping skill. I used to be a lot better but I seem to have lost it, mostly after a massive crash on that trail before they redesigned it.
It's a trail I just don't get now.

I think it's a great trail if you're proficient at jumping, which I'm clearly not 😆
Trail is really well built and the jumps progressively get bigger towards the end, good for progression, but I was way out of my depth.

Think I'll stick to improving on popty ping, but which red jump trail would be the progressor to that? Maybe ACDC?

Technically it would be Loco but they’re not big tables, just awkward step downs!
There’s also the top of Watts Occurring but again it’s very twisty with some awkward tables on/around corners. Insufficient Funds is probably the closest to what you want.

I wouldn’t go near Zut if you’re not reliably clearing everything on Popty, Zut jumps are super easy but they are gaps and if something is going to go wrong having a gap will make it worse.

I struggle with keeping enough speed for the biggest tables right at the bottom of A470 (my justification is that I’m only 8 stone so gravity is less helpful for me 🥲) but I had a private coaching session with Justin (one of the BPW coaches) to look at A470 and it was super helpful. I really recommend him if you want to work on jumping.

Well I didn't die, so that's a bonus 😆

You had a crazy lucky escape on the case @2:13 — that table is notorious for flipping people over the bars if you 50/50 it, I think 3 people broke femurs on it in a 2 week period this summer.

I’m there with @Zed. literally every weekend on my eeb (and usually a Friday on the DH bike) if you ever want a tow into anything!

I pushed up and had a look at the jumps on Zut Alor, they are pretty big! And being gaps consequences are a lot higher, definitely not ready for them.

I really like watts occurring as a trail, but the jumps are awkward and difficult, I'm amazed how people can get enough speed to jump some of them successfully, again I can get down the trail, but it's way out of my league to clear it properly.

Loco is great but not easily sessonable.

Bottom half of insufficient funds is a good shout and slightly easier to sesson.

The bottom half of rim dinger has some jumps now too so that might be an option.

Ideally I'd need a trail like popty ping but with the 6-7 table tops of A470, that would be ideal to learn on, or if they just make that part sessonable.

As long as you’re sensible about it you can go left under the wood barrier on the berm after the top line of A470 (1:40 in your vid) and pedal up the side of Vanta, it brings you out by the first a470 berm out of the woods (@1:03 where all the people are). Easy to session that way!

Oh for sure, super fortunate not to go OTB. A friend nearly broke his collar bone going over the bars at twisted oaks a couple of weeks back, he's just dislocated it, but its still messed him up.

BPW is like 4 hours from me, so I don't get to go all that much but I'm definitely up for meeting up next time I'm there. I'll let you know when I'm going next (y)

You were going great but just getting tired I think. Looked like gonads took a beating. o_O

Rapidly losing talent and confidence towards the end, my nuts have never been the same since taking up mountain biking 😆

Yup, did that 😂 😂 😂
I was sorting of at the stage where I was nearly clearing the jumps and that lip spat me over the bars upside down. Happily apart from that, it went well as I scuffed my helmet but nothing else.

If you want easy sessionable jumps head to Tirpentwys trails, they've got progressively bigger/different lines with a perfectly easy Eeb back up again, you could hit 200 jumps in an hour easy.
It's a great place for steep berms, tech etc too if you wish. Let's of very very fast people head there often.
