LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Popped to swinley yesterday with @DJ57UMP for the first visit in about 2-3 years and the first time on Eeb's. I can't say we'll be rushing back, but what we did do was fun.
Took both cameras with me to have a bit of a play about with positioning and perspective. Unfortunately, I got bored in the editing.
Here's both sets, let me know what you think looks better.
At 2mins i move it from the chin (which was my favorite position to the chest) but the 10 doesnt seem to like it (kind of zooms in to far?)
So in conclusion, I think the 10 on the chest with horizon leveling and the Max on the chin in portrait?

Chest mounted gave the viewer a better view ahead & captures the bars well to add to the action.
Do you not like to use super view, as this would give a greater view of the track ahead & capture your entire bars. No expert, just an opinion?

I do use superview but it just seems more zoomed-in than other peoples superview? I must be doing something wrong lol. Bring back the 6, all is forgiven!

Are you filming with a higher bit rate, when I tried that I found it tended to shrink the view (didn't like it) and just went back to the standard settings. Think you would find the chin mount would be a lot better as well?
That said, I like your videos alot:), you sure do get around.

Don't think I've changed the bit rate but then again I've fannied around with it so much, who knows?
I prefer the chin-mount and a wide view but can't seem to find the sweet spot yet. well, it keeps me occupied chasing a goal of the perfect footage, will work on the riding later ;)
Thanks for the kind words.

It all looks zoomed to me , maybe go to default settings and start again . Something ain’t right 👍
Ps with chesty you gotta raise it up a bit and supeview shouldn’t zoom it , if anything it will zoom out as to capture more !
Who sang “rip it up and start again” ?

Probably the most boring mtb vid I've ever seen ..when I say " seen"..I watched about 30 seconds then skipped through the rest to see if there was anything interesting..

You’re a harsh critique Hodgie, give the guy a chance, it’s his first post in this ride footage thread where only the true brave dare enter 😆

The action did ramp up a notch when going off road through the park and zooming through the crowds of children. Luckily no one was hurt in the making of this movie 👊🏼

Wow some interesting riding through that field with all the kids playing at the end 🙈

This ones also good from 2:30, people jumping out of the way, some urban bollard slalom and a near miss with a push chair before a red light onto a road 😳

It’s like some dash cam video from a dodgy ‘bad drivers’ facebook group, except this is the dash cam from the said ‘bad driver’ 😬

It’s a roadie vid , no dirt to be seen 😂

Anyway.... Little trip to the local last night. Getting pretty overgrown in places making it hard to see, hands are still stinging from all the nettles 🤷‍♂️

Looks like they’re running fairly dry still, thought they might be a bit sloppy now. Anaheim looks fun and I know where it is now thanks. We’re probably off there Friday evening for a power hour

We were expecting slop so didn't bother washing the bike before but it's good! Anaheim and funkatronical are a bit greasy where it gets steeper but should be nicely dry by Friday

Focus jam2 on some nice trails in Norway
Love the "rockiness" of that trail and it reminds me a lot of Torridon in the N.W.Highlands of Scotland ..what always gets me are wooden structures there's just something about them that makes me fall off ...😂
Are you members of the Norwegian tourist board ..that flag also reminded me of the patriotic nature of the Scots ..
Great video really enjoyed it and much like Muzza.. I watch very few.

Oh my... I crashed today! A Blue flow trail on the North Shore, Vancouver.
That wasn't a crash, that was just dabbing with your hands! :ROFLMAO:

We always used to say when skiing - if you don't have a tumble, you're not trying hard enough!
