You nearly spilt your drink at the beginning there

yeah, I know how it looks 😂 I’ve got a battery extender so nowhere else to put it apart from my bag which means I have to stop every time I want a sip😬 and yes I thought I was doing a flip into the gorse at one point 😂😂

One from Dalby Forest yesterday on the pedal bikes with the insta360 one rs

I've had a play with the chest mount but there's alot of shaking in the footage, I might need to tighten the straps up to help a bit but the top of lid mount works quite well for following people.

I've also noticed it seems a bit slow to change from light to dark conditions, so coming into a sunny clearing it can all be a bit over exposed. Im wondering if switching from 60fps to 30 might help with this?

Lewis looking dry & dusty there 👍🏻

Here's my 20 minute edit from the two laps at Llandegla on Saturday.

Great conditions as dry but it was my first time there.

Did you do this big berm section @Tonybro ? It was a section I was looking forward to after seeing a few YT vids but was quite disappointed with it, it was all over in about 15 seconds! Waste of a climb really as you had to access it via the blue route, and then ride all the way back to the visitors centre via the red, which I also thought was a far too tame

Yeah, the first 6 feet or so is pretty much vertical but rolls out nicely, if steeply, after that.

Back on the normal bike this weekend for Boltby Bash Enduro. First time I've entered this but probably the most fun enduro I've been on!
Not the most technical race but found it tricky to ride fast in the dust, loads of the berms were blown out by race day and the sandpits just sucked you in. Had a puncture at the top of stage 2 so rode most of it with a flat but it was still alot of fun :)
Ended up 42nd out of 228 in my class

As you’re pretty much in the top three of all the Strava segments in North Yorkshire I’d say if you didn’t have a puncture you would have easily ended up on the podium 🏆

Haha not quite @Tubby G, I could have maybe got a top 30 without that but I made a few mistakes and didn't really do any training on that bike so struggled a bit with power on the pedally stuff. Gears were playing up a bit too after bending my mech in practise too.

I'm also rubbish at remembering a track after one practice run :D

I want to take this opportunity to tell you about a great place where you can get the most comprehensive information about playing in Australian casinos - link - here I gained valuable skills of playing without investing, and it was worth the time I spent reading the articles.
Sounds like you had a great time! enjoyed watching the video!

Now then, we decided to go for an easy XC ride Saturday morning just for a change and it was predicted to be a scorching day. Went to Nidderdale for the classic Scar House Reservoir / Ramsgill circular. Here’s a raw GoPro edit from the day

Warning: All bridleways, zero GNAR, but it was actually a really pleasant ride with some fantastic scenery

Been wanting to ride this trail for quite a while but never got round to it mainly due to its location. It’s about 3/4 mile from the rest of the trails at Dalby and up a killer of a climb. Think I’ll be parking in the nearby village lay-by in future and just session this trail on a power hour as I need to get up to speed on it

Anyway, it was a little greasy today in places, so took it cautiously. Shame, as everything has been bone dry for weeks but we’ve just had a couple of days of rain. It’s an awesome trail though

@Tubby G Lewis is such a fun trail! It's hard to make out how tight and awkward the bottom half is but trying to keep a good flow takes a fair bit of practise. Definately a good trial to session a few times if you park down that side :)

Yes it was great. Definitely going to session it, probably a mid week cheeky after work summer evening trail. Need to get down the rooty drop rather than the chicken line too! The roots were slippy yesterday, had one (rescued) major slippage and a greasy 90 deg slide on one of the turns, so took it cautiously after that

Got into this trail after having used komoot to get to the trail head and forgotten to turn it off 😆

Adding an youtube link because it seems the previous link does not work on some cases:

Brief video of the drop down the back of Rivington Pike and the long, rutted and rocky descent off the back of Winter Hill down towards Belmont (apparently it is called San Marino which was news to me).

Met Justin (@ukjk48) who accompanied me down and we completed the full circuit. Good to meet and happy to do any rideouts if you fancy. Circuit was just over 15 miles, 1000kCals and 2250 feet of climbing...
