Good eye! This is on the west-ridge trail just behind JMP. I'm waiting until the fun trails dry out a bit so we keep erosion to minimum.

Just added a sprung suspension seatpost, much better for a fairly "mature" set of bones, have also ordered a replacement RideControl unit - my 2019 model did not include ANT+ and limits display / computer options. Leaning towards an app for my phone which I guess makes the upgraded RideControl a bit redundant but at least I have some extra options.

A 400m climb to the summit of the Puketiro Loop at the Battle Hill Regional Park, Wellington, New Zealand. The views were great.

Finally got a chance to go for a ride with my son on his new ebike. He bought a Giant Talon E+ 29er in XL.
Did a little over 36kms down to Mud Bay and out that trail almost half way and back.
Fabulous weather, around 8 or 9C this afternoon.

A grey sky and low cloud made for a misty summer's day in Wellington NZ. A 50km ride from Burdan's Gate in Wellington Harbour around to Pencarrow Head, Baring Head and then Turakirae Head into Palliser Bay to Barney's Whare on the Wild Coast track.

I have a Mucky Nutz short on the front and a long on the rear. The rear I have drilled 2 holes on the centreline and mounted with screws to the rear swing threaded holes.

So good to get back out today. New bar setup. Surly Sunrise bars. Was tired of running a huge stack of spacers and still feeling like the bars were too low. My shoulders and hands are much happier.
