Hi Guys, just got my lce930. I noticed that there is a small play in the rear bottom shock. The m8 bolt supplied seems to be a bit smaller like 0.15mm. Anyone got this issue?

I had the same problem with several pieces. The solution was to have the bushing custom-sized by a lathe.

not sure if this would work

but they have all different sizes ect
i read your bolt was off so maybe you can find something to fix

This won’t work, the bolt is 8mm but the nut is 10mm OD. If you use the existing nut, you can put any M8 bolt with partly unthreaded part(~25mm). The original also has a cone shaped part to account for, so if you add that and a spacer it needs to be about 30mm unthreaded.

The original bolt is 7.9mm not 8mm, that is why there is a small gap.

What is the best solution? i messaged Jim and he said if its 7.85 it should be alright. But I really get a knocking sound coming from the shock. Everythng is torqued correctly.

Get a coke can and cut a shim and roll it up amd put it in with the gap facing away for the direction of force load

maybe offset bushing.com can mill you some oversized bushings

i gave up on Jim long time ago, very frustrating dealing with him and his bikes... but i will save that from this thread
