Laylo purion mount - finally a commercially available aftermarket option!

I bought a laylo mount and first impressions are that it’s nicely made, good value and provides a welcome alternative location for my purion controller.

I actually quite like the Purion although I accept it’s a clunky chunky old beast!
I typically run Tour or emtb so I don’t need instant trail access.

once I loose the trek stem and knockblock spacers I’ll explore more alternative mounting points, until then I’m pretty much stuck with sat on top of the stem.

How does it work with 'WALK' mode?

I presume the OP simply wants to reduce the chance of smashing the unit up in a crash.

I actually quite like my Purion being close to my hand and I'm not generally a crasher so I will keep it stock. The only thing that does annoy sometimes is having to find something to put under it when the bike is upside down for maintenance, but I will sacrifice that for convenience of being able to access the menu without taking my hand off the bar. Oh and being able to still use Walk mode like you say, although I rarely do!
