Hi, short notice I know, but tomorrow I'm going for my first proper emtb ride (solo at the mo). I'm rising down from shelly so hope to be at Langsett around 09.30. Just wondering if anyone fancies a meet up and ride?

We're it not for the fact that it's a 312 mile round trip from where I live in Northumberland I'd be really tempted !
It's a great ride and I will return one day ..
I'll just have to content myself with a ride in the Cheviot Hills on Saturday ..

Shame you chose Friday, our group was out around Langsett yesterday. Another time maybe

31.6 miles, 3812ft ascent. Great fun. Perfect first ride out. The Raymon was awesome.

Hi mate, it was great. Yes rode from Shelley and back. Just under 32 miles. Absolutely brilliant ride. I'd not do the road section by choice its where my van was having some work done so had to start there. The ride from Langsett to Howden res was ace!

3% haha, but it did a hell of a lot of work. 1160m ascent and back. Mainly in trail mode. Only used boost on the sloppiest boggy ascent.

That is good, I'd probably need a few more mins in Boost at the moment, but if you going again in the near future I'll tag on if you don't mind. I'm down on Rowley Hill. Prob park a little closer but attached my rude today.
