KMC 12spd Flat Top chain VS Sram Flat top

I just became aware of the KMC Flat top chains. Does anyone have first hand experience with them? Worth a shot or should I just stick with GX Flat top chains from Sram?

I got the KMC for my new EMTB because I wanted Gold. But otherwise I would stick with SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type Chain.

That said I will stick with the SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission Flattop Chain on my Amflow PL Pro.

There is a thread where some people are stating the Eagle 70 are weak chains. That's really why I'm asking about the KMC chain. It's either KMC or GX flat top

Yes I saw that thread. But it appears it may have been a batch of chains issue, rather than a design issue. The Eagle 70 is much cheaper than the KMC here in Australia. And I'm guessing wear will be similar. KMC chains are good chains but aren't renown for long life, compared to chains like the SRAM XO.

As I said. I am running KMC for the colour. But if value for money was your motive. The SRAM chains do appear to give more life the more you pay for them.

I have a bike coming with the Eagle 70 setup on it but i'm swapping my GX Transmission on to it. Figured I would reuse the eagle 70 chain. In the States the KMC is the same price as a GX T-type. Tempted to start off with a chain that's going last longer or gamble with the KMC
