What's the story on this?
Seems that the few remaining ones are all on eBay.
Might there be an updated version in the works?
Heaven forbid they ditch the 400c form factor as my frame is just waiting to ditch the archaic controller with a 400c cut out.

I have been waiting for months and your question made me go to Ari site to check because they are the only ones that sold them in the us I know of but they sold out before i got one. They are back in stock i just ordered it now.

But yikes @ $402.50 plus!
Heck, I'm still using an iFern 11 for everything else in my life :ROFLMAO:

I've ordered from them before, legit site. Tho you may get whacked with duties.
Yeah. Google/Ai told me it's 15% which still pencils out vs. Ari. Who knows if that's accurate. It's the customs hold shipping delay f*ckery where I fully expect to lose out. Dice roll!

Santa Cruz emailed the owners club two months ago with an offer to buy one for 250 bucks which I replied to and purchased within five minutes of getting the email.
They said they had 100 of them and they would go quick, I’m sure they did.
I was looking at the company from Italy before that.

I was an an early adopter .. or so I thought. Paid in full through the LBS months ago and the sands have run through the hourglass many times, yet no sign of the unit. 1st world problem from living in NZ?

My 400c arrived yesterday!
I ordered it from Riderwalker in Spain. Surprisingly it only took about two weeks to arrive at my doorstep in Florida. Thanks Riderwalker👍🏻

This weekend I’ll tackle the somewhat intimidating process of installing and connecting everything. I’ve read the threads about such, and watched a few videos, and it seems there are subtle differences with every install.

Any pointers or suggestions greatly appreciated!

You mean ridewill.it? Did you get hit with duties?

I purchased from Ridewill.it and it worked perfectly on my Crestline S180. From what I understand, you need a bikeshop to activate the USB port if you install a Kiox 400C that was not originally installed on the bike when you purchased it. I don't use this feature on my Crestline and the USB port does work on my Orbea Wild that came with my bike.

Can anyone verify the USB needs to be activated by a lbs because it requires specific software?

This was not the case for mine, I got mine from Santa Cruz four months after purchasing myBullit 4.
Plugged it in and it worked right away after an update.
USB port worked immediately with no fuss.

On my Orbea Wild M-LTD, the USB port also worked immediately after installation without any problems.

I was going to follow up again, but now ridewill.it lists duties as management fees... still cheaper than buying thru US site for $400 + local tax.

Riderwalker doesn't directly specify whether duties are included, similar price to ridewill.

Marin Service Course in Fairfax, CA has 'em if anyone's looking:

You end up paying extra from what ridewill charged? For $100 saving, I'll order from them. I ordered tires from them in the past, as they still came out cheaper (~25%). Now, maybe 10% with unknown potential extra duties, it's not worthwhile to me.

I got a tariff bill from UPS that made it more expensive but it was the best / only option when I bought it.

Just order yours from Marin Service Course (see post above) they have a bunch.

Just curious when you ordered, did your order have the management/DDP charge? Their statement says, "Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Duties and taxes are prepaid at checkout. No additional fees upon delivery!"

Its not just this item... I haven't bought anything from the EU direct since the retaliatory tariffs hit. Trying to judge if its worth ordering stuff or not.

I was mistaken - no extra charge from what I paid at purchase. The only extra tariff bills I've received were from UPS & FedEx for parts from China and Canada.

I ordered tires from Canada and got hammered with a bill from FedEx
