Kiox 300 cadence measurements

I'm just getting used to using the Kiox 300 and was looking at the Cadence stats at the end of my rides. The results look rather lower than my perception of my usual cadence which is usually above 80. Does anyone know how Bosch measure this... do they include zero cadence when you are aren't pedaling or, like Gamin have non-zero averaging? And is there any way to select non-zero averaging?

Just for completeness... I asked the question of Bosch and the tell me zero cadence isn't included in the average cadence results.
