Jam 2 7 thoughts

What is your thoughts on this bike? Is is a good bang for the buck or there are better bikes for this price?
It would be my very first e-mtb (or even mtb) and need it to be versatile. Thank you

If it's your first MTB/EMTB then you should consider the Thron2 rather than the Jam2.
It's a little more upright than the Jam2 and gives more confidence to the new rider. All of the "lads" (none of us are young!) around here have opted for the Thron2 after trying out my Jam2.

I've had the Jam2 for just over 2 years and my wife has had the Thron2 for coming up for 3 years in September. Both are great bikes.

Just my 2 cents, I have a 2022 Jam2 7.9 and installation of a light through internal cabling is almost impossible. Struggled for 1.5 hours and ended up giving up. This new 7 series frame doesn't even have any external cable ports and the integrated cable routing is the only option.
I am not sure about you, but I will never get a bike with integrated routing headset, ever.
