Just had a quick read of page 4 only, personally thought it was all very entertaining, can we have some more please.

Couldn't agree more as long as it doesn't get personal.

And it's always great to put a face to the name.

BTW what brand are your glasses Gary? I need a new pair.

Why? Because they're a LOT lighter. Which absolutely transforms how a bike with a 25lb frame handles.
And they last just fine if you're not a clumsy no finesse bastard who feels the need to run as low pressure as possible scared of a little less ultimate grip. By all means run DH casings if your riding and terrain warrant it. Most folks don't. Even more so I'd have thought in Holland

I agree tho. Tyres should be No1 choice on any performance vehicle.

I'm Dutch but live in NZ :)

...but I stand by my recommendation of heavier casings as a no brainer upgrade for anyone who's planning to ride the hills. From my experience and others that I ride with, we've all had dramas with pinches, tyre roll, and sidewall bulges from lighter casings but rarely from DD or DH. Infact I don't think I've ever fully worn out an exo or exo+ tyre, they just seem to frequently poop themselves even on chill rides.
