Ideas to get this out?

The barrel adjuster in my dropper remote has sheared off flush with the body of the remote. It' hollow, obvs so the cable can pass through but I'm struggling to wind it out. Any ideas?

or hammer in a torx bit.

Start with a suitably sized wood screw (because they are tapered) and just push it in and lever to one side and then try to unwind the inner section. If it isn't jammed, it may come out quite easily.

Sorted. Found a bit of plastic, dab of superglue & it wound out like a charm.
