I like to flip my bikes over to work on them BMX style, and this activates/ damages my e-bike controllers. Ideas?

If you had been a Brit, I would have assumed that you were joking. But Americans don't seem to do irony very well. :)

Language barrier I presume.
It's a good thing we won that war, otherwise we Americans would all be sipping afternoon tea and speaking English now.

Guys, I like to flip my bikes over to work on them, on the trail, in the garage, whatever...

The issue is that with e-bikes I'm constantly activating or in the case of my previous e-bike, damaging the handlebar controller. Does anyone have a good solution for this issue?

I was imagining a 3D printed half moon shape that installs on my handlebars and provides a little plastic puck for the weight of the bike to sit on when flipped over. Something light, simple, cheap, etc... Would probably just have 2 of them to protect both sides from damage.

Any ideas? Thanks

Made it more than 5 years ago with 3D printer.
Fast and easy to install

I cut a couple of 1.5 inch wide strips off the end of wife's old exercise mat, rolled them into coils with central holes large enough to go over bar grips, then fastened with some Gorilla tape. Works fine.
In post #48 I said this^^^ and it's dirt cheap and works great. Just slide them over the bar grips.
