I wanna buy a Levo but I cant arrange a test ride, best they can do is a buzz around the car park.
im 6'2" and I went expecting to have to buy a XL frame like my old enduro but the large seemed to fit great and it felt like I could get 'over' the bike easier.
but without riding a trail its really hard to tell..

so, how tall are you and which size fits best for you..?

Hi there. 6ft 2 and a bit and on a large Kenevo and fits perfect. Also rode a large Levo on a demo day and that fitted me great also :)
 
5' 7'' normally ride a medium Reign but a large Levo felt not as squished as a medium Levo
 
188cm on a Norco sight Large. Although after trying a few different models it varies by manufacturer by quite a bit.
 
175 cm and Carbon Expert size M, feel good and no pain even after 7 hours trip.
 
5'10" levo medium. Plenty big enough thanks

Very interesting actually, as I did JUST THE SAME.

I'm also 6.2 and fully expected to fit the XL, But found that I actually slightly prefer the Levo in L.

For me it was basically a feeling of being pulled slightly too long forward and stretched out a little bit more than I like on the XL. I got a bit too much pressure on my hands / arms and handlebar.

I'm sure I could adjust the XL to fit fine too with a shorter stem and playing around with head spacers & bar rise etc. but definitely liked the L better as it was during my testing.

I'm pretty broad and heavy built though with broad shoulders and proportionally more weight in my upper body vs lower compared to many, which I think has an impact and makes me need a little bit shorter reach for my length with a slightly more upright , rather than stretched out position. For reference my inseam is about 33"-34"

I have my Levo frame on order in both L & XL and will happily take whichever they can get to me first really.
 
Hi. i'm 6'2 and ride a 19 XL Levo, this fits my riding as mostly trails and odd weekend bike park, so XL fits great and with the dropper no problems with the Park stuff, Think if i was more Park riding the Large would be a slightly better fit. Make sure you let us all know what you get and why.
 
Hi, i ride a large levo (base) and i'm 6ft, the bike feel's super fine for my height
The only mod's i've made is some DMR V12 pedals for better grip and a sicomtb mudguard to help protect the motor

6ft and my Levo is large. I think the decider between large and xl if you are over 6ft is your body shape. If you have a relatively short upper body and long legs the large is better since reach becomes the main factor for sizing. I would find what reach you are most comfortable with and choose between L and XL based on that.
 
thanks for all the responses boys, ive found on long rides I get neckache from what I 'think' is overreaching to the bars, I shortened the stem but it still happens..
so basically others at the same height as me will be happy on L or Xl..
think ill do the L this time

yea good call, I found the same but after I left the shop I found myself doubting and its an expensive mistake to make..
I found on the large I still had room to move the seat and may even raise the bars a little.. im all legs I guess :D
 
If you have long legs shorter upper body I think L is a better bet. The stack height makes less differencd I think on an e bike because unless you are into xc type mtb pedalling efficiency is not such an issue. I often find I am riding flat access routes between trails with the saddle still partially slammed but the assistance means it does not matter.

This has been my finding too. Seat height on eMTBs does not matter nearly as much as on a full analog bike as my Scott Spark for instance.(Which btw is an XL.)

If you find them so close (same as me) then also keep in mind that once you get one or the other, you will become used to it, and probably not ride it back to back with the other size either, so you will be happy and love it either way I'm sure.

That said, I also doubted myself on preferring the L (everybody including Specialized says I should be on the XL, except for the LBS I tested the bikes. who was surprised to say that he actually thought the L also fit just fine for me, which he did not think up front) but after having gone back and actually retested an XL again, I still know I slightly prefer the L.
 
I’m 6 foot and went for the XL with a 35mm stem, much nicer reach for me. Found the Large a bit too short in the top tube, Xl is a bit of a jump in size but feels Stable and helps with the rolling speed.
