How much is too much?

You have probably seen some ridiculous prices from Trek, Specialized and others.
What do you consider the max retail price for your next Ebike?
(Maybe we can all list that in US$ because it is easy and simple to refer to)

I think somewhere around that $10k mark you start to see dimindhing returns. In Trek's case I would likely buy a lower end model and upgrade the parts. For Specialized I'm keen on the full fat Kenevo which is around that price range.

I think it’s all about how much is it worth to you.
I started with a modest budget bike of ~ €4800... I good hooked and now I want new one with better spec at ~ €7000.
In my mind it’s worth every cent and I don’t see the need to pay any more than that... for now
