Hi there, I've got a turbo levo comp and I have an aftermarket saddle. The way that the saddle mounts to the seat post, it adds like an extra 2 in to the height. I've already lowered the dropper post as far as it can go, how can I get it even lower?

If it’s a 150mm xfusion then the 125mm one goes lower in the frame.

personally I would get a different saddle though

Out of interest, what saddle adds 2" to the seat height?

This might actually be a situation where the answer really is "just fit a OneUp 150mm post"... :ROFLMAO:

You could always just drop the post a wee bit till the saddle is at the right height.

OP has already done that.

I guess I was right...

@bikeshiq you need a shorter dropper post.

There's two ways to do that;
1. Get a post with less drop.
2. Get a more compact post with the same drop. OneUp make pretty good posts that are generally shorter than OE posts for a given drop.

Could I also grind off seat to?une like the other person said?

You could. I wouldn't though, it'll void your warranty.

IMO if the seats too low you can loose control of the bike when things get rough , the seat is a contact point for your thighs and can stabilise things !
DH racers won’t have the seat at its lowest point

It's the ISM touring.

Hmmm... that saddle has to go. Get a regular style saddle. Run it far enough forward so that some of your weight is on your butt bones. If you have to tilt the nose of the saddle a little bit downward, do it. Just don't tilt it up. And make sure you're wearing a proper cycling liner. Gotta keep that junk from floppin' around
