high or low

what position do you 2019 levo riders run the rear shock "flip chip" in high or low?
what are your experiences with either position?
can you feel a difference between the two positions?

yes thats what I assumed but mine came from the shop set in high

I have only ever ridden a 2019 levo on test and it never occurred to me to ask about whether it had a flip chip or not. But the above explanation that its purpose was to adapt the frame for the wheel size struck me as a bit dodgy to say the least! How can one chip make the necessary adjustment for both wheels?

What do I think the chip is for? - Based upon discussions in the clockwork bike world, the flip chip is there to alter the bike geometry. It makes the head angle steeper or slacker, raising or lowering the BB height at the same time. This alters the way the bike rides and feels. Some riders prefer one setting or the other. We are not talking of major change here maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of a degree on head angle and 5-6mm on BB height. In other words, nothing like the amount required to raise (or lower) the whole bike up in the air by the difference in radius of a 29er vs a 27.5er.

But if I'm wrong I am happy to be corrected, every day is a learning day!

In the shop they set all the Levo's on high where I live, which is more an XC area.
It is more nibble in behavior, for our trip to Scotland in June I will have it set to low.

Yes it is marked on the chip.

Mine came set on high and I have left it as I get enough pedal strikes as it is.. More so cause I want to keep pedaling to keep motor engaged.

Mine came in the high position also. I'd like to hear from someone who's tried both positions and get their input.
I ride very mixed terrain so I could probably appreciate both positions on any given ride!

My 2019 came in the low position. I was getting a lot of pedal strikes and the bike handled a little sluggish. Flipped it to the high position and now I’m getting more crisp handling and slightly fewer pedal strikes. I’m running 29” wheels.

Just checked and mines come assembled in the high position!

My 2019 Levo Comp XL with 29ers came in low position. I haven't tried the high position yet.
