Prynhawn da! I've not been on a forum in a while so please don't mind my awkwardness. Call me Uni, I use he/they pronouns, am in my mid twenties, and I love riding my EMTB both playing on singletrack and going on big all-day mountain adventures with my mum on her own EMTB.
I ride a Scott Patron Eride for adventures and fun, and have a Volt Pulse for my daily commute lol. Who needs cars when I can have a trusty ebike with a big back rack and a beautiful rural commute to enjoy?
My riding skills don't yet match up to what my Scott can do, I'm over here taking a big enduro bike on Red trails
. But that's okay! I'm overbiked intentionally, I can get nervous so I value the confidence having a bike so much more capable than I am gives me. It's okay if I land wrong or heavy from a 2ft drop if my bike's designed to take like 15ft drops, so I'm not scared to practise and learn. And simply getting on my bike brings me a smile!
I often end up singing "Metal Monster" by bloodbound when I'm charging down forest tracks on it - though I've got my own altered version of the lyrics to make it even more EMTB suitable
.
I hope you're all having wonderful days, and wish everyone fun riding!
