Hi, been riding a Specialized 2019 Kenevo for a couple of years now. I ride with a friend who has a Merida. We are both retired and about 70 and we both just love getting out onto the trails alongside the Yarra River, in Plenty Gorge and occasionally further afield. The Cascades trail near Lake Mountain scared both of us, but we completed it... Our challenge is getting below 3 mins for the Dentist in Candlebark Park... we are both too old to break bones and therefore try to balance our desire to compete with the fitter and younger with commonsense!! Studley Park boat shed has the best breakfast roll in Melbourne so its a regular trip...
I have just added an additional 180 watts of power to the 460 watt battery that comes standard with the Kenevo in I think quite an elegant way and will publish details in the DIY battery extender forum... the commercially available extenders dont usually accommodate the Kenevo because the rear shock prevents an easy solution...
