Hi I live in Italy 200m from the border with Switzerland. We (me my wife and my son) ride here and a lot in Liguria. Haven't yet bought an (actually three ) ebike, torn between e-sommet and a whyte 160/180.

Welcome! If it were me, I would definitely go with the Whyte. More power and bigger battery of the Bosch system, Whyte also design all their pivot bearings to be weather-sealed. I think a better looking bike too, with the integrated battery. 2020 model had a bit of a bad cable routing design, cables hanging down under the bottom bracket, but that's been sorted for 2021 models
