Yes, this is what am trying to understand.... I found great bargain bikes with excellent components but am confused with the motors... Like for example i found a Raymond fylly 10.0 with high specs like fox etc but the motor is Yamaha PW-ST. Is that an outdated motor? Cause i see bikes that have the Yamaha PW_x2 or x3 or the Shimano EP801 etc etc... So if i get this bike whichbis a bargain with top components i gonna end up with an outdated motor?

Hi and thank you... Budget is always a concern but for a first timer am willing to go up to 4000 euro. I found many options with that amount

That’s a reasonable amount. You could always leave a bit of room for future upgrades. IMO a good reputable bike dealer will soon be important. I like the support from a LBS within 30 minutes, but that may not always be possible.

There’s 4-6 good eMTB manufacturers. I’d stay away from the unknown brands.
