Ed from Bedfordshire here and just joined the forum. Not actually got a emtb yet but hoping to get some great advice before pulling the trigger in one.

Hi PeeJay,

I'm pretty tight on budget but its between the Voodoo Canzo E and the Trek Fuel Exe 5. I can get both on Cycle 2 work. Tredz are doing the Trek for £2725 but has an inferior fork to the Voodoo.

Any advice greatly received

Update: I have now ordered a Trek Fuel + EX8 due end of January. Getting exited already......now need to find the pedals thread

What do ya want to run, pedal wise?… platform or clipless..?

It will be platform. I’m not brave enough anymore to run clipless.

Hope F22 pedals , pricey but Nice… I’m running , Burgtec at the moment.. plastic, so not feeling so bad when I get pedal strikes….. few more months, once Hip is ok, i’l go back to clipless …

The Hopes look nice. I’ve got Superstar Nano’s on my old bike and always got on well with them. Plenty to choose from
