I just purchased my first emtb Trek Rail 9 GX/2022. A lot of good info here 
Thanks to Rob for sharing his Rail upgrades, such a big help that he have the opportunity to try so many bikes and share his experiences with us, so that we can use them as an idea/start point for upgrades. I upgraded the same after I saw his video, same suspension as the bike comes with, just longer 170/160 as Trek Slash use, and Burgtec high rise 50. Such a lovely bike has become. Sad that Trek doesn't let us choose travel suspension when we order 
. Not everyone needs shorter travel suspension and of course not everyone needs longer either, it should be optional.
