I ride a 2018 Focus Bold 2 hardtail and and have covered 4800 miles on technical trails around the Peak district and in the Scottish Borders, etc.
The motor and battery have been 100% reliable but everything else (except the frame) has been upgraded or replaced. I’ve mulleted the bike and put some Fox 36 factory forks on, to give a slacker head angle, and it handles great. I do all my own bike maintenance and find the forum very informative. Happy biking !
