Hi,
Ive been biking off and on since about 1987. My first mtb was a muddy fox courier with these new fangled ’indexed gears’! I rediscovered my enthusiasm for biking after an alps trip, shortly followed by a new analogue bike - Bird Aether.

I was planning to hold off on going electric until I couldn’t manage the uphills but decided life’s too short. So, just got myself a Trek Rail 7.

I’ve only managed a nightime ride round a frozen golf course so far, but that was a blast.

First of all welcome ..
I hear what you have said so many times ..and to be fair it's a good enough reason ..however what you will quickly find out is that you will be hunting out those technical climbs that had you beaten in the past ..and sticking up two fingers at them 😁..and wondering why you waited so long to have so much more fun

Hi welcome
And snap
My first mtb was a 1987 Muddy fox courier With chainstay brakes that used to pack with mud :)
I bought it brand new it cost me £323 which was loads then.

My courier was a present. Probably combined birthday and Christmas from most of my family - I should phone my mum and thank her again!
