Hi, ive been biking in the dirt for over 55 years starting with my stingray. I was an avid biker until 5.5 years ago when I was run over by a 6,000 pound F150. I’m so out of shape I’m looking at e bikes as a fun way to get back on my Yeti sb5 again.

Im looking at the Specialized Alloy Comp As my first ebike but will probably not purchase until next spring unless I find one in my size.

Welcome! I am on Front Range near Golden. I love my ebike as the climbs are now as fun as the descents!

I looked the Alloy Comp too but ended up with Giant Reign E+2 as it was in stock and $6100.

Cool. I thought I spent a lot on my last bike lol. I still haven’t ridden one yet so maybe this week I’ll do a sidewalk test to feel how assisted pedaling feels.

Because of my accident I’ve never been so weak, so I’m looking at a 4x power over a lighter 2x power. I live at 7525 feet so I’m thinking 4x is the way to go.

Just want to mention that paying the 5 Pounds for ad removal was money well spent! A much calmer experience.
