My wife and I are both in our early 70s and purchased 2 Gazelle T10 hybrid ebikes 2 years ago, and have both done 1000 miles a year. Really pleased with the bikes managing up to 80 miles on a single charge.
We have a camper and taken them to Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium.
In UK, we use mainly canal paths and forest trails, though not mountain bikes, we have covered several sections of Shropshire Castles Way, where we did struggle a little.
