I’m new to the forum (and eMTB of course). I spent this spring rebuilding my 24 years old Trek 7000 almost completely and had fun to hit the trails again. However I’m 24 years older now too, the long climbs really hurt a bit and I just got curious how these eMTB ‘s would work. After a test ride on a Specialized Turbo Levo HT 29 I immediately fell in love with it and bought it right away. Had awesome fun during the few weeks I own it and riding it almost every free time I have. So thank you for having me, yet found some good information on this forum. Promised my Trek to ride it once in a while on my house trail but not so sure about it though. ?

Welcome, the great thing about e-mtb is it lets you get fit in your own time at your own pace. You may find you enjoy riding the Trek again once you have some time on the e-mtb and are a bit fitter.
