How are you going to do that?Well, yeah, that’s a given..
Its for a "hall-sensor", google it. The alloy just needs to be ferromagnetic, means if you put a magnet onto the metal sheet it needs to stick.Try different metals? I’m sure it’s an easily identifiable steel alloy, lol
I just registered after seeing your post, but don't think I can send PMs yet. Would you mind messaging me with where I could find a CAD/step file for this ring? Thanks! If anyone is interested in a STEP / IGES / SVG File, drop me a message![]()
You wouldn't want a basic ferrous metal, it would rust quickly. I was assuming that you would have picked a stainless steel, but some are magnetic and some are not.Yeah, that’s kind of what I was saying. Of course I would try a basic ferrous metal disc first, lol.
That’s what I meant by ‘easily identifiable…![]()
Yes they are around €10 in the EU - for example: AMFLOW GESCHWINDIGKEITSSENSOR RING 42 TWhat's the MSRP you are seeing in the US? I picked one up from a UK Amflow dealer (where I am based) for about £9 posted.
Unless you have direct access to laser/water cutting machines I think you would struggle to get a one off that cheaply...
Correct. I asked Amflow and they said “soon”.I just looked, there are NO parts available from the Amflow USA site, unless I just don’t see it.
Or I get this:![]()

Yeah, I discovered Amflow had pulled all their parts and accessory info off their site while trying to look up some weight figures for the stock parts on the bikes. Weird. I did discover Ronhacks lists a lot of accessories still, and is acting as if they have them in stock. I didn't see the sensor ring listed but, given how many small parts they seem to stock (everything from brake hose guides to chainstays) it seems like it might be worth checking with them if you're in a tight spot and need one soon:Correct. I asked Amflow and they said “soon”.
