Hello folks,
I bought a new fork for my bike and would like to install a proper headset.
Unfortunately, I find my Alltrail 8 of 2022 so no concrete info on the headset on their data sheet.
I put on the following in the shopping cart by basically blind guessing:
I found out that my headset is called Feimin Ahead headset so I searched for it on eBay. I found one, looked into the description, even tho it was for the sduro and allmtn and not for the alltrail, and selected the above (shopping cart) on the basis of the description, but I'm not 100% sure, especially in the lower part. I have yes a tapered fork (before as after, logically), accordingly I thought that the lower part should be for 1 1/2“. The 56/30 headset below would be for continuous 1 1.8" forks, correct? So I need to take 56/40 to fit the 1.5 on the bottom?
