Have a set of Magura I planned to put on my H30, but concerned that re-routing the rear hose will turn in to a nightmare, so had a thought.

Apparently the MT410''s are vastly improved with new levers and I have a set of Zee's available so thought

Upgrade the front brake to a Zee caliper with Zee lever
Leave the back brake as the MT410 but pop a new lever on

What's anyone think of that idea?

I cannot imagine a different lever fixing the problem, which is that a crappy 2 piston caliper lacks the power to stop a bike of this heft! I cannot believe of all the cost cutting they did that they put such piss poor brakes on these bikes.

Well silly me! Turns out the bike came with 6100's so upgrading them to 6120 4 pots with ceramic pads and re-using the 6100's on my cube reaction where the hoses are routed under the motor cover so it's a piece of cake. Not even going to attempt the Magura install on the rise, the 6120's will be more than good enough

My h3

My h30 came with 6100s too and I did exactly the same thing. A pair of 6120s and some new discs and the brakes are fantastic.
