Looking for recommendations for a nice set of grips that don’t have fixed end caps in them. I’m using the muc off stealth tubeless repair kit which fits in the end of the bars and I’m having to use a pair of cheap Amazon dual lock grips. They’re ok but not the best. All the usual suspects like ergon, death grip etc seem to have fixed end caps.

+1 on the Ergon GA2's, here they are with a Topeak Ninja chain tool:

"Grip builder" lock-on grips from Uber Bike Components would seem to fit the job. They have a wide range of colours, diameters, patterns and collar colours. They come as standard width end plugs, but you don't have to use them. £13.99 - £14.99 depending upon selection choices. Plus £2.49 p&p

One of the secrets to mountain biking are these ODI Rogue grips as they are made of soft rubber which offers some dampening but still allows you to get a firm grip. I use the Specialized stem mount SWAT multi tool which also has a chain breaker in it, I was thinking I would like to find something that I could carry my CO2 cartridges in the bars along with some bacon strips but I cant seem to find anything. Is this what is meant by no cap ends?

You could also go for something like the ESI grips. They're slip on, but I've never had one move on me (always applied properly).
