I'm happy to have found this Forum and already browsing through the various posts has answered many questions.
I live in the West of Switzerland, in the Jura Mountains and have gotten to the point where climbing on an acoustic is way too much effort (ripe old age of 56), so started looking into an EMTB.
Given the current pandemic, seems like decent EMTBs in the 3K - 4.5K Euro range, especially in size Medium are very rare.
Most of the Dealers I've spoken to are talking of deliveries starting from mid-Feb onwards next year.
Only one I've seen that is close to my budget (in Switzerland) has been a Scott Strike and a Ghost ASX which is much higher in price. While I'm familiar with the Scott brand, Ghost is new to me. Any other suggestions? I'm more inclined to riding trails, single track (hiking trails), so lot's of climbing and descents with some technical bits (for me, may be easy for you).
Has any Swiss member on here, imported from Germany and what was the experience like?
