Hi all.

The charging port on my wifes XS Grand Canyon On7 broke the second time it was put on charge. The lugs for the screws both snapped when removing the charger from the port. Seems like a really bad design.

Kept riding it with the intention of claiming on guarantee when we got time. The thing is now held on with tape every ride so contacted Canyon and they sent a new one straight away FOC.

Only had a quick look, but it seems as if fitting it will involve dropping the motor. Perfectly happy doing this (I'm a mechanic), but is there a guide/written procedure for doing it? Anything I need to know before getting stuck in?

Cheers.

I have this issue too, how did you get on? Do I attempt to glue the parts back together or fit a new charging port - I need to decide, but any advice you have would be appreciated.

Do you have the exact party number, I’m thinking it’s

SHIMANO EW-CP100.

Thanks.
