As per the limiter speed limiter thread I owned a Trance Pro for 6 months in which time the dealer was so utterly useless I had them send me the service manual so I could fix the bike for myself. Handy for torque settings etc and shows how to turn off the low speed limiter etc if thats your thing.
All at your own risk obviously

It should work, worked on my 2019 Trance.

That was exactly my thoughts when I finally got hold of it. Sadly the bike was a lost cause and ended up getting rid but glad this can help out others. A lot of basic info in it that is really handy.

Yes I've tried both methods, I wonder if it's software specific.

It’s always possible that the “feature“ was disabled in later versions of the firmware too.

Please note that this method is for removing the 20km/h limit that some countries have, so you can have 25km/h, not for removing the 25km/h limit.

Sorry but I think you are mixing your km/h and mph. There is a 15 mph / 24 kmh limit in the UK for example but a 20 mph / 32 kmh limit in parts of the US and other countries.

No, that's not the case.
you are right in that EU limit is 25km/h and US limit is 32km/h but the procedure described in this manual is to limit the max assistance speed to 20km/h, for rental and some countries purposes. With this procedure you will never be able to remove the limit to 25km/h in EU and 32km/h in US.
