do you get any brake fade with MTX reds on the front? I love them on my pedal bikes. I tried MTX golds front and rear and they're too noisy. power and modulation is good and they are bedded in correctly.
I haven't noticed any faded so far but I haven't really ridden a good downhill run on them yet. Mainly trail riding so far.

Do you think they’ll fix it and allow the assist level to be set below 10%, or introduce an auto - - mode for those who don’t want a motorcycle, but a bicycle?
The youtube transcript implied a new mode that sounded like a new and improved Auto mode.

Probably be the new model year, same bike, different colours and specs.. new power that will also be able to go onto the original G4’s

I saw an internal Specialized video with the features of the new firmware. The two most interesting capabilities are reverse mode (you can ride in reverse with 50% assist and a backup beeper) and dynamic squat, which lowers the bike 75mm when you need to squeeze under tree branches or other obstacles. The software also supports crankarm lengths down to 90mm as well.

Either new SL with more power longer battery slim down tube Not Hot stoppable ( the gen 4 everyone was hoping For) or a long travel and light weight Gen 4 600watt battery light components bringing it in at 20kgs F…. Who knows anymore Januarys firmware update is now Easter bunny update

Funny, another new deadline. How many have passed without anything happening? Bets are being taken!
😆🙃

It's actually listed on the US specialized website Turbo Levo 4 Pro. If you look on the section that says"Unparalleled Usable Power and Torque" it has the new power and torque figures listed:

must be powered by anti-matter.
Good question, are the claims in absolute or relational terms. Marketing “unparalleled” concepts or thinking in parallel ideas. Single-dimension approach presents absolutes, Inter-dimensional asks, Compared to what?
Unparalleled… compared to last year? Usable... for whom? Torque… at which cadence?

So which context are we considering of the following three:

Marketing “This feels insanely powerful.”

Engineering “Power is capped by regulation and physics.”

Rider “Delivery and control matter more than peak numbers.”

They’ve pulled the new specs from the website. Hopefully nobody got fired!

Who knows but Specialized is closing the Innovation center in Auburn California.

That’s not cool hope no one is Jobless
I knew the tariffs were causing some short term (hopefully) pricing mayhem. I had no idea the rest of the MTB industry was struggling the way they are. Especially analog bikes. I guess it makes sense because I don’t know anyone personally that would/is buying an analog bike as opposed to an ebike.

Not the longer travel stuff, but I bought a new Epic Pro XC bike that is amazing.

Shops I spoke to basically say they sell e-bikes or XC analogue bikes.. nothing really between.

Ok so they got offered their jobs but in a different state also not easy to up and move but I think the development guys are quite important to the business sure they highly qualified (just guessing)

Bummer about the Auburn test center. It's Auburn CA, so the move to Morgan Hill is in the same state, but Auburn is such a great place to ride. Got airlifted out of those mountains back in college 😂
